Why can't I download apps?

Assuming you have already added a Google Account to the tablet, you may have run into a rare issue with some Android 2.2 tablets. Please try the following and you should not see this problem arise again.

  1. Connect your tablet to the Internet.

  2. Open Market and then tap on Home (launcher) to close

  3. Now that the Market is running, go to Settings->Applications->Manage->Running

  4. Tap Market

  5. – Clear Cache (NOT CLEAR DATA!!!)

  6. – Force Stop

  7. Go back to list of running apps

  8. Tap Google Services Framework

  9. Tap Clear Data and confirm

  10. Tap Force Stop

  11. Go back to main screen

  12. Open Android Market (this will generate an error – this is what we want)

  13. Shutdown and restart the tablet. Wait for your wireless to connect and for the system to finish loading

  14. Open Android Market.

It should now work. If not, give it a couple of minutes or multiple tries and it will eventually go through.
